I like when Doug has meetings after church, it gives me a good opportunity to journal while the girls are in bed. Fall is definitely here, it is one of my favorite times of year, the changing leaves, the chillier nights, the food and all of the fun activities. The fair is always one of our favorites. This year we got to go to the rodeo twice, My mom and Ashley came to help me paint our front room and they brought Kenlee and Maylie to help with my girls. My front room looks amazing I love how it lightened it up and they helped me get started  on redecorating and getting colors. Kenlee and Maylie were a huge help, we couldn't have done it without them. They kept my girls entertained the whole time and Addi and Macy couldn't have been happier to have someone to play with. Anyway the rodeo was that night so we decided to go. I hope they enjoyed it, I love the rodeo and loved having them come with us. The next night the Hurst family went so we got to go two nights in a row. We sat in a different section the next night so it was pretty fun to see things from a different angle. We also went to see the animals and at least the girls didn't scream just looking at them they weren't impressed when the pig walked by though.

On our walk to the car Addison was doing a cowboy dance, ( there was  a trick roper at the rodeo she was coping.) and then when we got home she got her cow and horse and was playing cowboy.

We also got to see the total solar eclipse. Doug took Monday off and we headed to Rigby Sunday after church. We stopped at my parents house for Sunday dinner and then spent the night at Brandi's house. The eclipse was so amazing. I was not convinced that it was going to be anything to go and see and fight all the traffic but Doug wanted to go and Brandi had invited us. I am so glad we went we had so much fun hanging out with them and watching as the moon slowly passed in front of the sun. Kammy had me watch a video about the eclipse a couple of days before so I knew some things to watch for and was so glad I had watched it, it talked about  the wavy shadow bands that happen just before the eclipse so we set out a white blanket and saw those. It was amazing how dark it was, the sunset all around, it got really cold, my girls were asking for sweaters, and seeing stars. I am so glad we made the trip. We were in no hurry to get stuck in traffic so we left pretty late at night. We didn't hit much traffic until Blackfoot so we got off and went through Aberdeen so we really didn't have to deal with the stuff I was worried about.

We also got to go to Steadmans for a day to play. We (Doug and I) had so much fun going to the water slides. We made Addison and Macy go once, we convinced Addi to go twice but that was it. Kammy brought some toys for the kids and we were camped out right by the sand box so the girls had a lot of fun too.

Juel took the week off before Jason and Levi went back to school and we got to go on a short trip with them one day to Lake Cleveland. It is such a beautiful place and we brought our canoe and played in the cold water and had a picnic. It was a very relaxing enjoyable day.

Between side jobs and working for Jones Doug has been working a lot. The girls and I have gone with him to some jobs, played at the park and gone on bike rides/walks. It is pretty hard to have him gone so much but I also think it makes me do things I wouldn't to help me and the girls have good days. We are really blessed to be able to do all sorts of fun things and have family that does so much for us and are willing to let us tag along. I love my family, they make me so happy.
 Macy is a sled dog.

Concrete  fire pit Doug did for Jami.

I left Brynli on the floor and when I came back to check on the girls I found her here.

Addison loves Brynli and she is the only one that can get Brynli to really laugh.
