Addison wasn't very thrilled with us when we stuck her feet in the water, maybe it had something to do with how cold the water was, weird I know.
Addi hates the sun in her eyes so we decided we should buy her some sun glasses to see if it would help her. They don't stay on long enough for her to find out but that's okay because some day she will keep them on and if not we got some totally cute pictures of her shades.
Crystal and Doug built a fire and we roasted marshmallows after the hike and of course dad had to give Addi some, and as all kids are with marshmallows, she was a mess and got it everywhere. Needless to say it was sugar so she loved it.
We also got to see cousins the weekend before that. Addison was so excited that she was finally the big one and could grab baby Lincoln. She might as well enjoy it while she can because I don't think she will be bigger for too much longer.
Mothers day was also fantastic. Doug helped Addi make me a finger painting while I was getting ready for the day. He would dip her hands in the paint and let her go to town on the paper. Addison loves paper and loves to crinkle it so she must have known she was leaving marks on the paper because it survived with only minor crinkles on the corners. It made my whole day to see it and how well she had painted herself and the kitchen as well. It is her first artwork hung on the fridge.
As we were taking these pictures Grandma and Grandpa Hurst were talking about how on the blog Addi was always eating something at their house so keeping to tradition... Addison loves ice cream sandwiches that grandma gave her for dessert.
Sometimes I will take a billion pictures of her because I think she is doing something crazy so I pull out my camera and so she decides not to do it any more so I just start snapping because well the camera is out and she is cute so why not. I always get some of the cutest pictures though because she is so happy and will just smile because I smile. She is such a happy baby and she makes my days amazing.
