O how I love summer. I knew that my life would change forever when Addison started school this year so I took every opportunity to play this summer. Some weeks started out busy others started with nothing but got busy as we went. I am so glad we took the chance to play this summer, we had so much fun. There were a few trips to Blackfoot to play at the beach, swimming lessons, the 4th of July with fire works (Brynli thought they were beautiful but didn't like the noise.) Popsicles every time we went outside, playing with cousins, zoo, staying with Aunt Jami and Uncle Jeremy while Mom and Dad went to Utah, Great Grandma's 4th of July party, the Adams family reunion, camping, and the list goes on.

This is the first year my girls have actually played at the splash park. Ashlyn came with us and showed them it was okay to get wet.

We picked 250 pounds of peaches this summer. We may have gotten a little carried away. I canned, froze and made frozen pie filling. We ate them plane, made short cake and peach ice cream. I had my mom, sister, Grandma Adams, Brandi's 3 oldest girls, and Ashlyn help me watch kids and put them up. I couldn't have done it without them and so grateful they came and were willing to help. Hyrum got into a bucket I left on the floor and found himself a little snack, I had juice all over my kitchen floor and all over him but he was so happy and ate the whole thing.
I am so grateful for the fun summer we have had. I am also grateful for the time I had with Addison at home and I am going to miss her very much while she is at school, but I am also grateful that she can go to school and will be able to learn and grow. It makes me sad how fast the kids grow but I love to watch them learn and enjoy life so much. They make me want to be the best mom that I can be. I am so grateful for the time we got to spend with family and friends and the many memories we have made this summer.
