Well I knew it had been a long time since my last post but I guess I didn't realize its been several months. Whoops. Looking through all the pictures I have acquired, I decided we have been having a lot of fun as a family. Pressing apples, pumpkin patches and carving them in the fall, sledding and making snowmen in the winter and going to Bear world, and just spending good quality time with our families.

And yes I would call dog piling on Dave and Crystal good quality time though they might disagree with the word good.
My girls are growing so fast Addison had her second birthday in October I can't believe it has been two years since my life has changed completely, what a wonderful adventure it has been and o how much I love this little girl and the way she makes me laugh every day.

And Macy's birthday is Saturday! I can't believe it has been one year already. She is so funny and loves to be active. What a special baby she is. totally worth the weight. O ya and wait.

We are so blessed to have our two little girls. They sure keep us busy but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Doug can give the girls a run for their money sometimes though.

What a summer we have had. I can't believe that it is September already. We have kept ourselves pretty busy but we also make sure that we get plenty of playing in. We have gone to family reunions and have had a blast at everyone. The Hurst family reunion was at Indian Springs and we had a really good time swimming and visiting with everyone. Then the Hatt family reunion was at Steadman's. Doug took Addison down the water slide a lot. She really liked it at first but as the day went on she wasn't as thrilled with it but she never cried going down but she wasn't thrilled getting on the tube at the top. Her and Porter got Grandpa to go Porter jumped on the tube willingly and Jason grabbed Addison to put her on but it turns out that Porter is the one that cried all the way down. It was pretty cute and I wish I had a picture of that but I only got two the whole day (in reality I was too busy playing to take pictures.)

We also went on our first family camping trip at City of Rocks. On the way there, there is a haystack that they made to look like a minion, I thought it was so cute so I made Doug stop so we could take a picture.

It was raining when we got there so Doug and I set up camp while the girls sat in the car warm and dry. It quit raining but we were all pretty wet by the time we went to bed.

Addi was freezing but shed all her clothes anyway. She was pretty cute running around the tent shivering with no pants on.

I thought we had escaped the night with no wild animals getting in the tent but when I opened my eyes I found these two.
haha get it they are in cheetah and zebra jammies :) any ways enough of my lame jokes. We went on hikes and played on the rocks and just had a really good time being together as a family.

We also had a really big rain storm one day. The gutters couldn't keep up with all the water that had dumped in such a short amount of time so there was a little river right outside our door. I let Addi go play in it because how often do you get to say you get to do something like that.

We also went to the magic valley folk festival Poland and Peru came, and because Levi is in Peru we just had to ask to take a picture with the Peru team.
The girls and I have gone to visit my family in Shelley while Doug has been at camp with the scouts a few times this summer. We have had fun with cousins and its always fun to take pictures of the babies that are only a couple months apart.

Yes Macy was bigger when she was born but O boy has Cohen grown, he now weighs more than Macy. Addison and Pyper have also gotten to play together a lot lately. They do pretty good together unless they take each others baby then there is trouble.

Well we have had a great summer and I don't think it is over yet. One of my favorite parts about summer is working out in the yard. We don't get around to it often enough but it is something that we all enjoy, even the girls help.

I am so blessed with my family. Two beautiful healthy little girls and a wonderful husband that does so much to take care of our family. I am so grateful for the love that we have for each other and the joy that they bring to me every single day.

We have been having a blast this summer. I feel like we are always on the go or doing something. The girls are so patient with me but they are also having a lot of fun. With it being so hot we have been doing a lot of swimming. Grandma Miles bought us a swimming pool and it has been really nice to have a little swim in our yard.
We have also gone to Blackfoot to Jensens Grove once to swim with the cousins. I was so surprised Addison loved playing on the beach and after I had a ski Addi got in the deep water with me a couple times. She was really nervous but she did it so it made me excited for her.

Macy also played (or sat by) Cohen.
We also went to Bear Lake for a couple of days. Addi did really good in the water and loved playing ring a round the rosies and motor boat with whatever cousin she could convince to play with her. Macy played in the sand a little bit but we had a blast.

We also went to the Minatonka caves, I didn't take pictures, but I am sure glad we went. I was a little nervous with the steep climbs and the slippery uneven stairs and every time I got really nervous Macy could tell and would start balling. We made it though and I really did enjoy seeing it.

We also had a blast for the fourth of July. We went to the ward breakfast in the morning. Then my Grandma Miles had a party. She had a huge blow up water slide (again I didn't get any pictures, Doug and I were too busy going down ourselves). The kids had a lot of fun, Addi was not a fan, we kept making her go down with us but every time she would whine when we asked if she wanted to go, when we started climbing, when we go to the top and when we got to the bottom, But Doug and I had fun. Then we came back to Burley and watched the fireworks on the golf course. I really enjoyed the show. We were close enough that you could feel them go off and they burst right over your head, Addison loved it and she loved playing on the golf course while we waited for it to get dark.

My girls are growing so fast. Macy is rolling all over the place and I have discovered that she can sit up really well when there are toys in front of her. Addison loves playing with Macy and is starting to say sissy. She is always in her face and can really get her laughing. They are so cute together.

And yes they are not twins but I love when they dress like twinners, even when they are not always willing to cooperate for twinner pictures.

Addison loves her stuffed animals. She lines them up to watch tv with her and the other night while I was making dinner she got them all up to the table to eat.
I love watching my girls play together and learn to love each other. I am so grateful for their patience with me and the love they show for me. I am so grateful for my family  and the time we get to spend together. We are so blessed.
