So we got rid of our Internet about the time I started the blog so as you can imagine it has been incredibly hard to post anything when you don't have Internet. Luckily the library is helping us out and we use theirs. I don't really know how this post is going to turn out but I am going to have fun doing it!
We have had Addison for almost 4 months now. It is crazy to me how slow time passes when you are patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for something great to happen and then how fast time goes when she is here and is better than great. She has met lots of family and the kids love her. Some were sick so Grandma Miles gave them doctor masks, they thought they were pretty fun especially because Mickey Mouse was on them.

Addison has a couple of cousins that are a little bit older and they make little Addi look so tiny. She needs more protein apparently.

Here are just a few pictures with the Grandparents, and a couple of Great Grandmothers. O how much we love our family. They do so much for us and are continually teaching us.
Through the ups

                                                        and through the downs

She has been the best thing we have ever done. p.s. the above picture is not really a down she just likes to scowl and its cute.

So I am starting this blog basically so I can show off my baby to the family but I don't really know what I am doing so I think this post will contain a bunch of pictures because I like pictures and it will get me started on when Addison was born.
Addison Darla Hurst was born on October 27, 2013 weighing 8 pounds 15 ounces and about 20 inches long (it changed every time she got measured) Addi looked a little too purple for the nurses taste after only about an hour of life so they took her from me put her in the nursery and hooked her up to oxygen and monitors so some of her first accessories were wires.

Then after trying to make her breath and some failed attempts they gave her this sweet ride in the ambulance to go to Twin Falls. On the way there she threw up and no longer needed oxygen. What an expensive way to get car sick.
Those mean doctors (alright they weren't that mean) made her spend three days in the NICU with monitors and IVs which made it incredibly hard to hold her but don't you worry there wasn't a thing in this world that was going to stop me from holding her. It was a rough three days but it gave me a greater understanding for those parents that have their babies in the NICU for much longer. What strong, faithful and courageous people they must be.

She got to come home on October 30 which is her dad's birthday. I think it was the best birthday present he ever had.
