Well the time finally came for us to have a baby. We decided that I needed to be induced since Macy was such a large baby so we set up a time on February 10. Our family was so excited the girls and I made a chain of when the baby was due and we tore off the extra days after we had set up the induction. The only worry I had was the freeway was closed because of flooding and the other routes to Burley from Shelley had a possibility of closing so I was worried my parents would have trouble getting here.  My family had started the guessing the gender and size text a couple days before and only a couple of hours after everyone had guessed I got a phone call from the hospital and they told me they could not deliver on the 10th so they would have to push me back to the 11th. I was so bummed. I did my best not to think on it and surprisingly only cried a tear or two. The morning of the 10th was the hardest though I was already sad because I was supposed to be in the hospital, instead Doug was at work and I was bathing the girls. My parents were going to come that day (the freeway had opened up hooray) so that gave me something to look forward to but they called and said they were going to be later then they had hoped so I was then really depressed. About 20 minutes later I got a call from the hospital and they said they could take me at noon. I called Doug and then my parents and told them they had to get here so they worked things out and everyone was here just in time. During the waiting time I was rushing to get everyone packed and last minute things prepared so I was stressed and I was really nervous so I had to keep calming myself down. When we got to the hospital there wasn't much time to think they got me all hooked up and started the pit. The epidural didn't work perfectly so I was in a lot of pain but things went really fast. We finally got to meet our little girl Brynli Lou Hurst.
The girls got to come to the hospital later that night and meet her. They just kept looking at her and thought she was pretty great. Macy didn't hold her too long before she said heavy and past her off.

They went home with my parents until Monday so we got to spend some time relaxing and enjoying the baby. Doug got pretty bored without the girls keeping him busy but I enjoyed the time even though I missed them a ton. They had a ton of fun with Grandma and the cousins though.

I am so happy to have our family back together again and being able to enjoy this baby and helping the girls with her. They sure love her and we are all so happy she is here.

I can't believe I didn't blog about Christmas, all the snow we have been playing in and Macy's birthday... OK I can believe it but I am sad that it has taken me this long. It's been awhile so I will let the pictures do most of the talking.
We had a lot of fun for Christmas, we did our best not to rush ourselves and we had a really good day as a family, we were all pretty spoiled.

Macy had to hand us every piece of paper she tore off and the whole box had to be free of paper. It took awhile.

When Addison opened Anna she immediately ran into the other room saying where is my Elsa then when she found her she had them dance and sing together, it was pretty cute.
Macy got an alphabet toy and would hardly open her other presents when she finally would she had to have it sing before she would start unwrapping.

We got a ton of snow this winter. In one day we got about a foot, I thought it was pretty fun.

Doug had a few days off because of the weather which was nice. Doug and our neighbor borrowed the skid loader to move all the snow, and Doug and Addison built a slide out of the pile of snow. She loved it and used it every time she went outside, which she asked to do often. Macy however is completely content to stay inside where it is warm. Most of the time we would get all dressed and go out and the next thing I know Macy is standing at the door crying because she can't get in. We did eventually get her to like it and she would stay out a little longer. Doug helped Addison build several snowmen though and she loved every minute of it.

We also celebrated Macy's second Birthday. We kept telling her she was turning two but she would grin and shake her head when she said two. We finally got her convinced that it was her birthday and she is two. Of course we had to have a monkey cake, its her favorite animal. We are so grateful this little girl is in our life to constantly keep us smiling.

We have had a great time this winter and I am kind of sad all that snow is gone but winter isn't over so maybe we will get a little more so I can go play with the girls. These girls always keep me on my toes and always have me smiling. I love the time I get to spend with them and I am so grateful for the blessings they are in my life.

This last week was pretty crazy. Not only did we have Halloween and the parties that went with it but we also had Addison's and Doug's birthdays. Addison has been talking about her Happy Birthday for awhile now so when the day finally came she was one happy little girl. She had gotten to do a couple special things with her grandma's a couple of days before my mom gave her some shoes and I think the only reason she ever took them off was because I made her for bed time. Doug's mom took her shopping and she was so excited to show us the things she got. On her birthday we had errands to run so the day wasn't too fun for her but Grandma and Grandpa Hurst came over for dinner and we had a little party for her. The night before Doug took her shopping to pick out her ice cream and pizzas so she was pretty excited for her special pizza. She was so cute opening her presents, she was very good to let Macy help her and got more and more excited as the presents got better.

Not the best of pictures but they still tell a lot. She even let Macy wear her new night gown and they started dancing and singing. The part she had been waiting for all week was cupcakes though. I asked what she wanted for dinner the day before and she told me cupcakes it took awhile for us to get to the point where she understood she needed to pick a real food and she would get cupcakes. Of course she wanted pink and princess cupcakes so I did my best even though I am not a cake decorator but princess cupcake liners and the cupcakes in the shape of a dress that was pink made her pretty happy.

All in all I think she had a pretty good birthday and I am so glad I get her in my life.

Then Doug's Birthday was on Sunday. I had the primary program so he got the girls all to himself during sacrament, I think he enjoyed it. We didn't do anything too special he had meetings and home teaching to do but we did make his favorite dinner and I finally tried a batman cake ( I have been wanting to make him one for awhile) again I am not a cake decorator but at least he could tell what it was supposed to be. I put in the trick candles that keep lighting themselves so after the girls weren't scared of the sparks anymore, they had plenty of chances to help blow them out. It was a good thing we didn't have smoke detectors because the house was pretty smokey by the time they finally got them out.

After the girls gave him his birthday present they thought it was fun to get in the big bag and be his birthday present... the bag didn't last too long.

We are so grateful for Doug and all that he does for our family. I know the girls love him so much and I couldn't have asked for better.
