October
October is a pretty fun month for us. We have Addison and Doug's birthday and all the traditions that go along with Halloween and Fall. My parents drive potato truck so I usually like to take the girls on a ride so they see what its all about. We picked up some dinner and got in the truck with Grandma and got stuck in a field for a while, Grandpa came to take over driving so we got to see them both. The girls had fun playing and seeing how it all worked.

We are always looking for fun treats, Doug thoughts the girls might enjoy worms and dirt.
The weather has been so beautiful. The girls and I love taking walks/bike rides to the church. We only have three small trees in our yard so we don't have many leaves so gathering all the leaves at the church and playing in them was really fun for the girls. I was glad I had my phone that day to take pictures because they turned out pretty cute and I love remembering how much fun little things like playing in leaves is.

Carving pumpkins has always been fun for me. We grew pumpkins this year and Jordan gave us a couple of the ones they grew so the girls had plenty to choose from. Addison and Macy wont stick their hands in the pumpkin to gut them, they are such girls. They tell Doug and I what they want for their faces and help us carve the best that they can. They love being creative and watching their pumpkins when they are all lit up.

We love decorating sugar cookies. I am usually a little bit nervous to eat the ones the girls decorate because there are so many sprinkles and they spend more time licking their fingers then they do decorating.

The day before Addison's birthday Jordan, Cohen and Pyper came to visit. They brought cinnamon rolls and presents and threw her a little birthday party. Addison loves when they come to play.

Addison's birthday was a lot of fun. It just happened to be on the day that we go to the library for story time and she really likes that so I was pretty happy she got to go for her birthday. Then we told her I would take her to lunch for her birthday. She wanted to go to Burger King to play on the toys. Neither girl would play on the toys for long but they enjoyed the food and drink and crowns. Grandma and Grandpa Hurst came over for dinner, cake and Ice cream. We found and Ariel cake pan at the DI awhile ago and she was so excited to have an Ariel cake. She thought mom did a pretty good job even though I was didn't have the right equipment and was definitely learning. It was so fun to watch her open her presents, she gets pretty excited over each one and is very grateful. Then Sunday Grandma and Grandpa Miles came to celebrate with her. We are so lucky to have so much family so close.

For Doug's birthday the girls and I decided to go his job site and have lunch with him. Then we went over the Grandma Hurst so she could teach me some things about decorating cake and let me use her tips so Doug's cake turned out pretty cool.We got him a cool kite and we are all so excited to try it out.

The girls had been dressing up for Halloween all month and every day they wanted to be something different. Addison finally decided on a butterfly, Macy started out as a ballerina but wasn't happy with that so decided she wanted to be a princess, and Grandma found and Ariel costume for Brynli the day before Halloween. They were all pretty cute. Brynli didn't seem to be pretty happy but after we fed her she was ready to go. They all loved the candy and enjoyed the whole night.

We love the little girls. They play so good together and take really good care of each other.
