Oh Boy! Addison has learned how to crawl and we have made the move to our new house. It has been a very fun month. When Addison was learning to crawl she ended up in some pretty interesting places.

She also learned to pull herself up. She has a little toy that is the favorite help, although sometimes it rolls away from her and she gets into some interesting situations.

During the move dad had some fun putting her in things and seeing how long she would stay there before she got mad. Some she liked because it also came with a ride,

others it didn't take long for her to decide she wasn't having fun.

We also started her on a bottle. She does really well with and, well, it makes for some cute pictures.

She has always liked when dad feeds her because he lets her play while she eats.
As usual we love to visit family and take pictures with them.
We love to visit Great Grandma Hurst, surprisingly she is one of the few people she will let hold her without crying.
When my niece walked in the other day I saw she was wearing the same glasses that I had just bought Addi so of course we had to take a picture. Addison doesn't keep the glasses on yet but Maylie thought it was pretty cool they had the same glasses.
We wore the poor baby out on the fourth of July and this is how we found her sleeping.
The poor baby was so tired we could move her and turn on the lights and it did not bother her at all which is usually impossible. We sure had fun watching fire works though and she did really well.

After we had gotten all settled in to the new house Jordan and Pyper came to visit us. When they first walked in Addison would follow Pyper wherever she went. They played so good together all day it was so cute. The next day Addison started crawling on her hands and feet in the kitchen just like Pyper had. We loved having them over for the day.

What a month! Addison is learning so much so fast these days. I know I say that every time I blog but it's crazy to me how fast the times fly. With the weather warming up we have started to do small walks and eating outside and fun stuff like that. Last weekend we had Crystal take us down to pillar falls in Twin Falls. It was so pretty and so fun, okay the hike was not fun but being down in the canyon was very fun. I packed my camera down and so I demanded that we take some pictures, now I know what your thinking, really Kelsey you packed the camera down? but yes for a girl who doesn't get much physical activity and all of a sudden had to hike down a canyon wall, yes I did PACK a camera down. We got some great family pictures so it was well worth the extra pound.

Addison wasn't very thrilled with us when we stuck her feet in the water, maybe it had something to do with how cold the water was, weird I know.
Addi hates the sun in her eyes so we decided we should buy her some sun glasses to see if it would help her. They don't stay on long enough for her to find out but that's okay because some day she will keep them on and if not we got some totally cute pictures of her shades.
Crystal and Doug built a fire and we roasted marshmallows after the hike and of course dad had to give Addi some, and as all kids are with marshmallows, she was a mess and got it everywhere. Needless to say it was sugar so she loved it.
We also got to see cousins the weekend before that. Addison was so excited that she was finally the big one and could grab baby Lincoln. She might as well enjoy it while she can because I don't think she will be bigger for too much longer.

Mothers day was also fantastic. Doug helped Addi make me a finger painting while I was getting ready for the day. He would dip her hands in the paint and let her go to town on the paper. Addison loves paper and loves to crinkle it so she must have known she was leaving marks on the paper because it survived with only minor crinkles on the corners. It made my whole day to see it and how well she had painted herself and the kitchen as well. It is her first artwork hung on the fridge.

As we were taking these pictures Grandma and Grandpa Hurst were talking about how on the blog Addi was always eating something at their house so keeping to tradition... Addison loves ice cream sandwiches that grandma gave her for dessert.

Sometimes I will take a billion pictures of her because I think she is doing something crazy so I pull out my camera and so she decides not to do it any more so I just start snapping because well the camera is out and she is cute so why not. I always get some of the cutest pictures though because she is so happy and will just smile because I smile. She is such a happy baby and she makes my days amazing.

Well it is official, my baby is six months old. I keep telling her she can't grow up but to prove that she can she decided to cut a tooth. She is growing so fast and Doug always says how aware of everything she has become. We absolutely love having her and watching her grow.

For Easter we went to Grandma and Grandpa Hurst's house for an Easter egg hunt. Doug thought it would be fun to make her bunny ears, we eventually got a whole bunny suite fashioned out of a warm jumper and a pair of socks. Lucky we did it because it was kind of cold that night so I didn't have to worry about a big annoying blanket to keep her warm, the bunny suite did the trick.
This probably isn't the most accurate picture of how she really felt about it.

Moving to Burley has been so fun just because I think we have seen more family in a month and a half then in our whole married lives combined. That's probably an exaggeration but not by much. We spent some time with Utahna's family over conference weekend. The babies were so cute squealing and grunting at each other.
Jordan also stopped on her way through to Boise. Piper didn't want much to do with Addi until I let her hold her, then she thought she was pretty fun, and we got a couple of really cute pictures, they are so fun.

Addison has started on solid foods and I think it is the best part of her day, she shakes from excitement every time I try to give her a spoonful. Her favorite is definitely ice cream.

 She likes gummy worms too.
Her dad's favorite is giving her a gummy worm mustache and watching her lick it.
You would think with all the sugar she gets she would be able to keep up with those cousins but I guess not.

We absolutely love this little girl and all the fun she brings with her.

Well life has been a little crazy the last little while but I think things are going to start slowing down. We have made the move to Burley and Doug has a new job. The apartment is a lot smaller so we have had to store some of our stuff and I have been a busy bee sewing and painting to make the place feel a little more like home. Some of what I have done has turned out really good and I like it, other stuff, well lets just say it will last until we move but it is essential to have. Addison is growing so fast and it seems like she is learning new tricks all the time. She is almost always willing to give me a smile and she sure brightens up my day. She is learning to sit up and does pretty good and from the look on her face I would say that she enjoys it.

We have had lots of opportunities to see cousins especially now that we are closer.
Addi is just helping these boys gets some practice for their new baby. They loved her and will be lots of help...well hopefully.
Addison is to the point where she is sticking everything in her mouth and is starting to like real food. Grandpa Hurst took advantage of my absence and gave her some red vine, it got everywhere but she loved it so it was well worth it.

Then aunt Jordan wanted to see what she would do with one of those baby puff cereal things. She doesn't get how to eat them so it ended up sticking out of her mouth and giving her "who" teeth.
For some reason this pink elephant is her favorite toy, she will pick it over any toy almost all the time.
But really she just likes toys and putting them in her mouth.
She is so fun and we love trying to discover her new tricks... and doing silly things with her. She is a good sport.

                                                                       oops
She is such a happy baby and so beautiful, we love having her around!
